Richard Russell "Russ" Young 1960 - 2011 Richard Russell "Russ" Young died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011. He was born Jan. 2, 1960, in Twin Falls. He was the son of Richard D. Young and Vera Goodman Young. Russ attended schools in Twin Falls. He was baptized at the First Christian Church in Twin Falls. He was married to Stephanie Harding, and they later divorced. He and his wife owned and operated Pets and Plants in Twin Falls. Russ worked for Eddie's Bread and local dairies. He was most recently employed at Barton's Jewelry as a watchmaker. His most favorite pastimes were hiking in the South Hills and canoeing in the various lakes and rivers in the area. Russ is survived by his mother, Vera Young of Twin Falls; his sisters, Bonnie McDowell of Jerome, Dixie (John) Farnsworth of Bend, Ore., and Carmen Miller of Twin Falls. He has one brother, William Scot Young of Pocatello. He also has many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Young. A memorial service will be held in Russell's Honor at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls.
