LYNN GOODMAN 1926 - 2011 Lynn Goodman, 85 of Twin Falls, passed away February 5, 2011 at the Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls. He was born on February 3, 1926 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the son of Walter and Elsie Russell Goodman. He served under Franklin Roosevelt Jr. aboard the USS Ulvert Moore during WWII for the US Navy. Lynn worked as a barber with his father. His first job was working at the Driveway Park Grocery in Twin Falls. On May 25, 1947, he married the love of his life Rosemary Jensen in Twin Falls. To this union were born three children. Lynn was a baptized member of the Twin Falls First Christian Church, and a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars. Following his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and constant companion his dog. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin at Magic Reservoir, and enjoyed the company of his many fishing buddies. His friends and family will fondly remember his homemade soups made with love. Surviving are his wife Rosemary of Twin Falls, his children - Dale Goodman of Bayview, ID, Karen (Garry) Gose of Idaho Falls, ID., Lynda (John) Kennedy of Spokane, WA, sisters - Iris Burkhalter of Murray, UT, and Vera Young of Twin Falls, along with nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Family will receive friends at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 5 - 7 P.M. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Twin Falls Cemetery with Military Honors offered by the Magic Valley Veterans and Auxiliary.
