Anna Josephine Hansen, 91, of Twin Falls, passed away on February 2, 2011 at River Ridge Care Center in Twin Falls. She was born on October 19, 1919 in Calloway, Nebraska, the daughter of Charles Edward and Katherine Marie Ryun Whaley. In 1942, she married Orval C. Hansen. To this union were born three children. Throughout her life she worked as a book keeper and secretary. Her career took her to serve with the Internal Revenue Service, the State Auditors Office, the US Attorney's Office, and ended with her retiring from the H.J. Heinz Ore-Ida Plant in Burley in 1977. Anna loved flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. Surviving are her two children - Rex (Vicki) Hansen of Filer, Kay (Jack) Flavel of Twin Falls, along with six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Orval, daughter - June F. Hansen and one Sister - Dorothy Pyle. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Family will receive guest for a visitation on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, Idaho from 5 - 7 P.M. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls. Services are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
