Gale P. Hawkins 1946 - 2011 Gale Paige Hawkins, age 64 of Twin Falls passed away January 18, 2011 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho with his loving wife, Denise and daughter Staci by his side. Gale was born October 4, 1946, the son of Eugene and Bernice (Wynn) Hawkins. He was raised with his brothers, Bob and Wayne, and his sister Betty in Twin Falls, attended schools and graduated from Twin Falls high school in 1965. He married Jody Kay Rightsell and into this union was born a daughter, Staci. They were later divorced. He was a member of the National Guard, an avid reader and enjoyed shooting his guns. Gale also enjoyed riding dirt bikes, Dune Buggies, Demolition Derby and was able to use his creative talents in many things especially working with ornamental iron. Gale married the love of his life, Denise Groth on November 13, 1982 in Ketchum, Idaho. Surviving Gale is his wife of 28 years, Denise of Twin Falls, mother Bernice Hawkins of Twin Falls; daughter Staci (Ron) Wilson of Oregon City, Oregon; brothers, Bob Fann of Idaho Falls, ID; and Wayne Hawkins of Littleton, Colorado; sister Betty Hawkins of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren Hunter, Tatiana and Grady Wilson. Memorial services for Gale will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Twin Falls with Pastor Scott Berner officiating. The family requests that donations be made in Gale's name to the Salvation Army, American Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
