Patrick Ryan Dunne 1951 - 2010 Patrick Ryan Dunne, 59, A loving man that touched the lives of everyone that knew him, left the pain of his earthly body, asleep in his bed at home in Kimberly, Idaho for the joy of eternal life, Monday, December 6, 2010. Pat was born in Martinez, California on October 4, 1951, the son of Eugene James Dunne and Ethel Rocks Dunne. Pat grew up with his four brothers, Eugene, James, Bill, and George, and his sister Shannon. In February of 1976, Pat enlisted in the Army and served his country in the US and also on foreign soil, until he was honorably discharged on August 14, 1981 in Stuttgart, Germany. On August 5, 1989, Pat married the love of his life,Sheri(Grubb)Dunne. Together they have six children. Pat was an excellent father, a wonderful husband, his mother's son and always a good friend. He loved his family and getting together for backyard barbecues, and anytime the family felt like being together. Pat had a tremendous love for baseball, and to say that he was a New York Yankees fan is an understatement. For him baseball was life and he reveled in it. Surviving Pat is his loving wife, Sheri Dunne of Kimberly, ID, sons, Shawn Dunne of Arizona, Ryan Dunne of Tennessee and Dustin Spillman of Nebraska, daughters, Kimberly Wedgwood of Florida; Melissa Forehand of Tucson, Arizona and Jennifer Ramos of Hansen ,Idaho. Also surviving are his 10 grandchildren, his mother Ethel Dunne of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, brothers, Eugene Dunne of New York, James Dunne of New York, Bill Dunne of Pennsylvania and George Dunne of North Carolina, and sister, Shannon Dunne O'Shea of North Carolina; Many many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His father, Eugene James Dunne in 2000 and his nephew, Daniel Dunne preceded him in death. At his request, Private family services will be held at a later date and he will lie at rest at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
