Beverly Jean Sheckler, 87, of Twin Falls, passed away November 1, 2010 peacefully at her home. She was born April 12, 1923 in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Edward and Margaret Mary Koopman Vernon. On Oct. 14, 1942 Beverly married Dean Sheckler in Omaha, Nebraska. To this union were born two daughters. Throughout her life Beverly worked as a sales clerk. She was a member of the Kimberly Christian Church and enjoyed being in the Christians Women's Fellowship and helping with the Hug A Bunch Sunday School Class. Beverly also loved music, she sang in the church choir and sang with her husband and family during special family evening together. She greatly enjoyed sewing and quilting and many other crafts, but treasured time with family the most. She and her family recently enjoyed a fall drive in the south hills looking at the beautiful fall colors that nature provides. Surviving are her daughters - Carol Lynn Doramus of Twin Falls, Kathy (Lynn) McMaster of Kimberly, along with five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother - Warren Vernon, sister - Shirley Marie Vernon and one grand daughter Deanne. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, Idaho.
