GLORIA LOUISE DAVIS

Gloria Louise Davis July 8, 1933 to April 9, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Louise Davis announces her passing Friday, April 9, 2010, at her home, at the age of 76 due to complications associated with multiple sclerosis. Gloria was born to Levant and Mary Rasmussen Doschades, Dubois, ID on July 8, 1933. She graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 1951, Clark County Public School and lettered in basketball and track. Upon graduation she moved to Twin Falls and attended Twin Falls Business College. She worked at the Jerome Co-op Creamery after graduation. On October 11, 1953, Gloria married Gene M. Davis, in the First Baptist Church in Twin Falls where they first met. They moved into their present home and raised four children. Gloria enjoyed fishing, golfing, shopping, playing cards (Bridge & Pinochle), and going out on Saturday nights to dinner with close friends. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Gene, daughters, Shirley Moeller, Beverly (Earl) Taylor of Twin Falls, Cindy (John D.) Mead of San Diego, CA and son Lt. Col Mark (Ani) Davis of London, England, her grandchildren Dustin (Jeni) Taylor, Kindsey (Jason) Taylor, Jordan and Spencer Mead, Hunter and Jayden Davis and great grandchild Maggi Taylor. She is also survived by her brother Carl Doschades of Dubois, ID and sister Margaret Starkovich of Boise. She is now a guardian angel to us all and at peace in the care of God. Visitation for Gloria will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, ID. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home with Dr. Robert C. Schreckenberg officiating. Interment will follow the services at the Twin Falls Cemetery in Twin Falls, Idaho.
