Floyd Michael Weeks

Floyd Michael "Mick" Weeks, crossed over at the age of 71 in Twin Falls, November 19, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 14, 1936 to Floyd (Mike) and Anna Weeks in Rupert, Idaho. From 1937 to 1951 he lived with his family at the Minidoka Dam. He attended school at Acequia and graduated from Rupert High School in 1955. Mick played basketball and football, he also built and flew model airplanes for which he earned a scholarship to ISU in Pocatello. He married Treva Ann Gebbert in 1955 and they lived in Pocatello until he graduated. They moved back to Rupert in 1966 where they raised their four boys. In 1988 Mick and Treva started traveling and selling Native American jewelry. They traveled all over the west coast and had the times of their lives. They moved to Twin Falls in 1985 where they spent time together and every summer they went up to Smiley Creek where they sold jewelry and enjoyed all the beauty that the Idaho Sawtooths had to offer. He leaves behind his loving wife, Treva Ann Weeks, mother, Anna Weeks, four boys, Michael Weeks; Curtis Weeks; David Weeks; Dennis Weeks; five grand children and two great-grandchildren. Mick is preceded in death by his father, Floyd "Mike Weeks and loving sister JoAnne Miller. Per Mick's wishes no services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls.
