DeLoy Bingham, age 74, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away November 19, 2008 at his home after a long illness. DeLoy was born March 29, 1934 to Charles James and Myrtle Maria Silcock Bingham in Burley, Idaho. He attended school in Burley and Twin Falls and was a graduate of the Twin Falls High School Class of 1952. DeLoy married Barbara Lee Hill April 29, 1954 in the Idaho Falls, IdahoTemple and they were blessed with four daughters. DeLoy retired from the Amalgamated Sugar Company in 1996 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. The trips to RedfishLake were especially memorable. DeLoy served in many church callings as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and particularly loved working with the youth. He loved serving others, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing his daughters and grand children. He is preceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. DeLoy is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters Debbie (Scott) Erwin, Rupert, Idaho; Kandi (Jim) Holbrook, Northbrook, Illinois; Lori (Joe) Casperson, Twin Falls, Idaho; Terri (Don) Rigby, Provo, Utah; sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Saunders, Ogden, Utah; and Dorothy Montgomery, Buhl, Idaho. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22nd at the Twin Falls Fifteenth Ward Chapel on the corner of Falls Avenue East and Hankins Road at 11:00am with Bishop Mike Traveller conducting. A viewing will be held on November 21st from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Parkes Magic Valley Funeral Home, and from 10:00am to 10:30 am at the church prior to the service. Internment will follow in the SunsetMemorialCemetery. The family wishes to thank the many care givers from Vision Hospice Care who so lovingly cared for him in his difficult illness.
