Harold F Smith

Harold F. Smith, 74 of Twin Falls passed away October 26, 2008 at Sunbrige Care & Rehabilitation Center. Harold was born January 8, 1934 in Woodruff, SC to William L. and Nellie F. Smith. He attended school in Greenville, SC and graduated from Parker High School in 1952. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in September 1952 and served 22 ½ years. Upon his retirement he opened a RV Repair Shop in Twin Falls and ran it till October 1994 when medical problems caused him to retire. He married Alice L. Luecking on August 14, 1953 together they had 5 children, Dawn; Lorraine; Linda; Carol and Richard. Harold was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 612, Disabled Veterans, Fleet Reserve and VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, reading and talking to people. He is survived by his wife, Alice; five children, Dawn M. (Clay) Pond, Jerome; Lorraine C. (Chad) Weekes, Filer; Linda G. (Roy) Ornelas, Lockhart, TX; Carol J. (David) Kime, Hansen and Richard W. (Vicki) Smith, Twin Falls; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death his parents, grandparents, his brother and his sister. At his request no services are scheduled. Cremation was under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls.
