Betty Jewell Lemmons, 82 of Filer went home to be with Jesus, Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 9:30 am at her home. She was born on August 31, 1926 in Golden City, Missouri to Willie Albert Stout and Pearl May Hall-Devall. In 1933 the family moved to Idaho from Joplin, Missouri. She attended school in Filer. Betty married Clifford L. Lemmons on December 11, 1941, to this union they had 3 children, Connie; Wilbur and Clifford. She was a waitress at the Green Lantern Café and worked at Green Giant seasonally. Betty loved to travel (she would have her bags packed in no time), crochet, embroidery, she cherished her flower gardens, baseball, NASCAR races, dollar store shopping and church functions at Calvary Assembly of God of Buhl were she was a member. But most of all she loved her husband and family. Betty is survived by her husband, Clifford, Filer, ID; daughter, Connie (Joe) Butler, Filer, ID; sons, Wilbur (Robin) Lemmons, Filer, ID; Clifford (Kathy) Lemmons, Kennewick, WA; brother, Bill Stout, Boise, ID; sisters, Peggy Kessler, Sparks, NV; Sarah Martin, Nampa, ID; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grand children and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Pearl; sisters, Hetha Potter; Wilma Craft; brother, Jack Lemmons and 2 grandsons, Andrew Lemmons and Shane Lemmons. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 20 at Calvary Assembly of God, Buhl, ID with visitation 4-7 pm Sunday, October 19 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls.
