Evelyn Kay Puder, 69 of Twin Falls passed away October 4, 2008 in Mountain Home, Idaho. She fought a courageous battle with cancer over the last year. She has passed to rest in her heavenly home. Evelyn was born on August 3, 1939 in Aurora, Iowa to Harry and Dora (Butterfield) Fairchild. She married Donald Puder on June 9, 1957 they have lived in Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, California, Oregon, Hawaii and Idaho. Evelyn was a member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church in Twin Falls and worked at the Senior Citizens Center in Filer. She enjoyed sewing, needlework, gardening and was a great caregiver. Her outgoing personality and cheerfulness touched many people. She never hesitated to go out of her way to help someone in need. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Don Puder, Twin Falls, daughters, Carol (Jim) Steelsmith, Mountain Home; Cheryl (Mark) Marks, Twin Falls; Tina (Mike) Dingman, Twin Falls and Donna (Jeff) Jacobsen, Twin Falls; sons, Jim Puder, Vernal , UT and John Puder, Twin Falls, brothers, Willard Fairchild; Vernon Fairchild; Richard Fairchild; Maurice Barnes and Murwin Barnes; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and a granddaughter. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls.
