Zetta Lucille Cooper Freeman Twin Falls - Zetta Lucille Freeman, 84, of Twin Falls ID, died Sunday, Oct 5, 2008, at St Lukes Magic Valley Hospital. She was born February 14, 1924 in Mt Grove, MO, the daughter of Joseph B and Bertie Cooper. She was raised and educated in Richfield, ID and later married Roger W Freeman on Nov 3, 1943 in Shoshone. Roger was inducted into the service in December of that year. Zetta worked for Mt Bell as a telephone operator during those years. They lived in Shoshone when Roger was discharged from the service in March of 1946. They later lived in Richfield and North Shoshone where they ran a dairy farm for twenty four years. Zetta worked at Johnny's Country Store North of Shoshone for several years before Roger retired from farming and they moved to Twin Falls. She worked for Cal-Gas until early 1978 when she went to work for Idaho Power Company as their receptionist. She retired from there in February of 1989. They spent the next 10 winters in Arizona and summers in Twin Falls. She became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the fall of 1967 and was active in the 19th Ward in Twin Falls, serving as a visiting teacher and a visiting teaching supervisor. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son David (Linley) of Canby, OR, grandson, Chris (Shannon) and great grandson, Devin of Bellingham WA, grandson Kevin of Danville, CA, and sister Veta (Bud) Roseberry of Jerome, ID, sister Vivian (LaVon) Maxie of Modesto, CA, sister Roberta (John) Sedey of Independence, OR, sister Meridell (Lynn) Mohler of Las Vegas, NV. Zetta was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, her husband Roger, and son Joseph. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11th at the Twin Falls 19th Ward, 680 Hankins Rd N in Twin Falls. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Shoshone Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
