Keith D. Pollard

Keith D. Pollard, of Hansen passed away from this life to his eternal reward on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Twin Falls Care Center in Twin Falls, Idaho at the age of seventy nine years and five months. He was born on May 17, 1929 in Indiana to Leslie and Grace (Payton) Pollard. Keith married Hazel Gray on January 26, 1949 in Elko. Hazel was a very significant part of Keith's life and he always called her momma. Keith and Hazel made their home in Hansen, Idaho for the past forty years. Keith for the most of his life was self employed, shearing sheep for many folks around the Magic Valley; Keith also worked in the timber, cutting post and poles and drove his truck during the fall harvest. Keith loved to work (piddle around) in his shop always taking something apart and putting it back together again. Keith always made time for his kids, and especially loved his grandchildren. Keith was a member of the Hansen Assembly of God Church, he loved the Lord and left his Christian heritage to his children and grandchildren. Keith gave his life to Christ many years ago and had the assurance that he would see his savior, Jesus Christ face to face. Keith is survived by his wife, Hazel Pollard of Hansen, Idaho; son, Jim and wife Pat Pollard of Twin Falls, Idaho; son, Jerry and wife Wanda Pollard of Spearman, TX; daughter Sherry and husband Joe Phillips of Jerome, Idaho; son, Larry and wife Sherri Pollard of Medford, OR; son, Dennis and wife Ristsuko Pollard of San Francisco, CA; son, Tim and wife Bonnie Pollard of Kimberly, Idaho; brother, Gene and wife Arts Pollard of Jerome, Idaho; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and a host of close friends that were dear to his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Grave side services will be held at the Twin Falls Cemetery, on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with a public viewing on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 6-8 p.m. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho.
