Carl Anthony Muegerl, 90 of Kimberly passed away Monday, September 15, 2008 at his home. He was born on November 3, 1917 in Kearney, NE to Anton and Mary (Mladek) Muegerl, at the age of 6 they moved to Twin Falls, ID. He attended school at St. Edwards Catholic School and Twin Falls High School. On May 4, 1943 he married Eleanor Mae Malone at St. Edwards Catholic Church to this union they had two children, Judy and Max. Carl farmed in Twin Falls, Salmon Tract, Filer and Murtaugh. He was a member of the Twin Falls Elk Lodge and St. Edward's Catholic Church. He enjoyed trips to Island Park, for 45 years, hunting and fishing with friends and family, model trains (his granddaughter, great-grandchildren and neighbors loved to watch his trains) and woodworking. He always had a project going on and if you mentioned that you liked that he would try to make it for you. He enjoyed visits from his granddaughter, Teresa and his great-grandchildren, Christian and Kylie. He always enjoyed his dogs, especially his miniature schnauzer "Robin." He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor, Kimberly; his children, Judy Cohee, Rupert and Max Muegerl, Kimberly; brothers, John "Lee" Muegerl and Edwin Muegerl both of Twin Falls; sister, Helen Baker, San Bernadine, CA; granddaughter, Teresa, Declo and great-grandchildren, Christian and Kylie. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joseph and Gerald; one sister, Elizabeth Rice and son-in-law, Robert Cohee. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at St. Edwards Catholic Church 206 7th Ave East, Twin Falls with a visitation being held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 17 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls.
