Leo Ramsy White Hawk

Leo R. White Hawk Leo Ramsy White Hawk, 87 of Twin Falls, ID passed away July 19, 2008 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. He was born May 6, 1921 in Manderson, SD to Clarence Joseph White Hawk and Jessie Mary Kills Enemy. Leo grew up in Manderson, SD and attended school in Pine Ridge at the Holy Rosary Mission. He married Lillian Ada Crazy Ghost, April 1972 in Pine Ridge, SD. Together they raised their family in Chicago, IL then they moved to Burley, ID and later to Twin Falls, ID where he resided until his death. Leo enjoyed picnics at the park with his family in Chicago and Idaho and holidays were special times for the family to gather together. He is survived by his brother, Eugene (Bernice) White Hawk, Manderson, SD; sisters, Roselyn Brothers, Alliance, NE; Leona (Anibol) Ayala; children, Chris (Joyce) Eagle Hawk, Oglala, SD; Donald White Hawk, Arlington Hts., IL; Pierre White Hawk, Burley, ID; Mike White Hawk, Burley, ID; Fiama (Paul) Suwanrit, Twin Falls, ID; Anthony White Hawk, Burley, ID; many numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian; parents and siblings. Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 with funeral services being held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. Internment will be at Twin Falls Cemetery following the services.
