Michael Squires

MICHAEL (MICKEY) SQUIRES Mickey Squires, 51 of Jerome passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008. He was born September 19, 1956 in St. Peter, Minnesota to Lloyd and Helen Squires. He moved to Idaho in December of 2002. He married Jody Bliss on August 4, 2004 in Jerome. Mickey was a loving, happy and enjoyable person. He was very comical and enjoyed being his family's "dork". He made life very interesting. He had a unique way of uplifting every one around him. Mickey spent most of his life as a long-haul truck driver and on his free time, he wanted to be with friends and family. He loved telling everyone that he was "Papa Mick" to eight grandchildren and that there is "two sets of twins". He enjoyed barbequing, baking, fishing and mostly the "food channel". Mickey is survived by his wife, Jody; three daughters, Larissa; Tesha and Demi, all of Jerome; four brothers, Bill; Jim (Marilyn); Tom (Sonya) and Chuck (Val); three sisters, Judy; Jayne and Julie (Tim), all of Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Annie (9); Sarrah Jo "Weasel" (4); Jenna (3); Emma (3); Aydin (3); Alyvia (2); Katelin (2) and Christopher (2) and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. A viewing will be held 6-8 p.m. on Friday August 22, 2008 with funeral services being held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 23, 2008 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. Burial will be immediately following the services at Twin Falls Cemetery. Our "Mickey Mouse" will be greatly missed. We love him dearly.
