Her strength and grit were combined with love and beauty. Alicia was born May 8, 1939 in Encinal, Texas to Jose and Casimira Soto. She grew up and attended school in Encinal. Once she moved to Twin Falls, she continued to work as a seasonal fieldwork. She also had several different factory jobs. Then she was employed at Twin Falls Clinic and Hospital in the Housekeeping dept. She later moved to St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls working in the House keeping Dept until her retirement. Alicia loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed family BBQ, especially ones where her love (Pedro) was the cook. Alicia and Pedro spent many weekends on family camping trips. Alicia loved going to Yard Sales. She would buy many items throughout the yard sale season, then would hold one very large yard sales, reselling items she had previously bought. She would use this money to buy Christmas presents for her family. But her biggest passion and joy in life was spending weekend down in Jackpot, Nevada.
