Ann Gregory, age 80, of Shoshone, Idaho, passed away surrounded by her family on July 13, 2022. Ann was born in Julesburg, Colorado on September 6, 1941 to Frank Busch and Edna Kennon. Soon after they moved to Sidney, Nebraska where she spent most of her childhood. Later she moved to Denver, Colorado where she met her husband and love of her life, George Cyrus Gregory, Sr. while she was working at a bowling alley. They got married in December of 1962 and remained in Denver where they welcomed home their two children, George (JR) Cyrus Gregory and Florence (Flo) Ann Gregory. In 1979 the family moved to Rupert, Idaho. Over the years she lived in Kimberly, Gooding, and after her husband’s passing in 1999 she moved to Shoshone. In Shoshone she met her good friend Wayne Sorensen with whom she spent nine and a half years. Ann was a retired CNA nurse spending most of her career working in nursing homes. She enjoyed traveling, white water rafting, dancing, gardening, country music, and spending time with her family. Over the last several years, while living at Lincoln County Care Center, she developed a love for bingo that she enjoyed playing with her friends. Ann was preceded in death by her son Kevin, mother Edna, father Frank, granddaughter Krystal, beloved husband George, daughter Flo, friend Wayne, and brother John Fastenow. She is survived by her brothers Robert Fastenow, Larry Fastenow, Mike Fastenow, son JR and JR’s wife Sue, granddaughter Ana and Ana’s husband Brandon, Justin, and great-grandchildren Grant and Paige. A graveside service will be held at Rupert Cemetery on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband George and near her granddaughter Krystal.
