Arlouine Probasco passed away Oct 29, 2021. Arlouine Pearl Newbry was born March 23, 1933 in Troy, Idaho. Her parents were Robert M and Arlouine Newbry. She was the eldest and only girl of four children. Her brothers are Robert E. Newbry, Roger L Newbry (deceased), and Ronald Newbry. They stayed in Troy until the fall when they came to Twin Falls. Her Dad & Grandad built a house on Quincy Street, Twin Falls, where they lived until four years later. They moved to a 40-acre place, west of Eden, Idaho. At the age of 6, Arlouine attended school at Russell Lane Country School until the 5th grade. They moved to Mt View Ranch and she attended school at Fall City Country School. In the 6th grade, they moved to north of Jerome where she attended Jerome Jr and Sr High School. She graduated from Jerome High School in 1951. She had several small jobs until 1953 when she went to work for First Security Bank, Jerome. She worked there until April 1959. In 1957, she met Marvin Probasco and in they were married on Nov 29, 1958 in Elko, NV at the Presbyterian Church. They lived in Jerome from Nov to May when they moved to Buhl where they have lived ever since. The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2008. This November of 2021 would have been their 63rd wedding anniversary. The couple were the proud parents of three sons, Danny born in 1959, Robie born in 1962, and Randy born in 1969. Arlouine loved crocheting and had several unique collections such as porcelain dolls, spoons, salt/pepper shakers, and unique plates. She and Marvin loved to go camping and travel around the country. She was a majority member of the International Order of Job's Daughters. She was an active member for 68 years of the Order of Eastern Star Chapters #54 Jerome (1952), #38 Buhl (1970's) and the merged chapters of Filer/Twin Falls. Arlouine was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile in Boise and in the Zenobia Club #2 of Twin Falls, ID. In the Eastern Star she served in many capacities including Past Worthy Matron, Grand Esther, and Grand Representative to Arkansas. Arlouine was preceded by her parents and brother, Roger. She is survived by her Husband, Marvin Probasco; Sons: Danny, Robie, and Randy; 4 Grand children: lan (Lindsey), Aryn, Caitlyn, and Samuel; 4 Great-grandchildren: Bentley, Bronxston, Bear, and Analise; and 2 Brothers: Robert (Janet) Newbry and Ronnie (Pegey) Newbry. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 5pm at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 4 at 11am with luncheon to follow at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home. Burial will be following the luncheon at 2pm at West End Cemetery in Buhl.
