Audrey Jeanne Ware

December 12, 1932 — February 7, 2020

Audrey Jeanne Ware age 87 of Twin Falls, ID passed away peacefully on Feb. 07, 2020. Audrey was born in Ware Massachusetts on Dec. 10 1932 to Robert and Maude Plouf, she was the first of three children. After her high school graduation in Worcester MA, she moved with her family to Culver City, California. There she met her future husband, Bob Ware a Navy Veteran with a heavy Texas accent. They were married in the month of June 1953. Everyone thought it was very ironic that she was born in Ware and married a gentleman with the last name of Ware! Audrey loved animals, with dogs being her favorite type of pet. Her favorite past times were listening to Elvis and visiting Santa Anita Race Track, she also loved antiquing, thrift shopping and visiting yard sales. At times, she would have a vendors booth at an antique mall. She won many awards for her furniture sales skills, she was a top saleswoman at JCPenney. She also enjoyed socializing and meeting new people and showing off her cooking skills for any social occasions. Audrey is survived by her two sons, Donald Ware and Richard Ware of Texas, her brother, Robert Plouf (Colleen) of Oregon, and multiple nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her younger sister, Sandra Eckert and her parents. She is also survived by her cat, nosey, who has found a new home with Audrey's friend, Barbara Eckler. A private family gathering was held at her niece Wendy Eckler’s home, in Twin Falls, ID to celebrate her life and reminisce about the many comedic family stories of Audrey Ware. She was quite a character and the many antics of Audrey will be missed. We will remember her as Frank Sinatra sang “I Did It My Way”.
