Babette Lucas

Babette (Babs) Renee Lucas Babs was born in Oakland, California to Judith J. Terronez and James F. Ashe. Growing up in California and Idaho and graduating from Buhl High School. On May 21st, 2011 she married the love of her life, Thomas Lucas Sr, in which they spent 13 wonderful years growing and loving each other. On Saturday September 12th, Babs passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones, much like the way she lived her life. She was an incredibly strong, happy, courageous and optimistic person who brought joy and smiles to every life she touched. She battled cancer for over 2 years, but she did not let that stop her from living her best life. She may have lost her life to cancer, but it did not beat her. Her greatest joys in life were being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the simple things in life. Bingo with her mom and friends, going on walks as well as fishing and going on adventures with her husband. She didn’t need anything extravagant, as long as she had her family, she was content and happy. She is proceeded in death by Judith Terronez (mother), Eugene Terronez (step-father), James F. Ashe (father), James Ashe (brother) and Shawna Wright (step-sister). She is survived by her husband Thomas Lucas Sr, her sisters Tina Jacobson (Jeff), Suzette Snow (Rick), her brother Frank Pendleton (Cynthia), her children Savanah Damian (Jacob), Thomas “TJ” Ashe (Jamie), Season Taylor (Brian), Shawna James (Will) and Thomas Lucas Jr and 9 grandchildren. The service will be held on Friday September 18th at the Wendell Cemetery at 10 AM. We will also be trying to offer a virtual option to join as well.
