Betty Jean Thornton, 98 of Twin Falls, passed away on Wednesday March 3rd, 2021 Born on February 19th 1923 in Wallace, Idaho she was the daughter of Eugene and Elizabeth Noxon. Betty married John Thornton in Wallace, Idaho on March 5, 1941. They were married for 62 years before John passed away in 2003. They were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters Sandie Shober San Diego, CA, Jackie (Don) Pardini San Jose, CA and Cindy (Larry) Yamane Kimberly, ID The family grew to 7 grandchildren John, Kristi, Gina, Tony, Melissa, Chad, Tyler and 13 great grandchildren. Betty was a very strong women, she was a talker and able to meet people with ease. She had many jobs over her life time from sales clerk at Macys, JC Penny to owning her own green house and floral shop then came real estate sales and property management. Her best job was being a wife and mother. To Our Mother Throughout our life, you have always been there. At first a hand to hold and always there to pick us up if we fell. Now, I knew you were always just a phone call away, so thankful for your wisdom, advise, and words of encouragement. We are beautiful because you told us we are strong, because you showed us how. Now all we have are memories and your picture in a frame as our keepsake. We will always have you in our heart and we know you’ll walk beside us every day. We love you Mom! A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls. Her Funeral Service will follow at 1 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Twin Falls Cemetery.
