Bruce Gines, age 64, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away September 1, 2020 at home. Bruce was born in Jerome, Idaho to Richard and Gene Gines. Bruce graduated from Filer High School where he participated in Shop, Football, and Wrestling. Bruce and Lynn Callen were always racing pickups, and getting into a bit of mischief. Bruce was child number 6 of what would become a total of 10 children. Seven brothers and two sisters made for many opportunities to love, laugh, play, prank, fight, and just be part of a family that always had each other’s back. Bruce spent most of his growing up years in Hollister, Idaho on the Deep Creek Ranch. Shooting ground squirrels, jack rabbits, skinny dipping in the canal, scaring each other with rattle snakes, shoveling corrugates, pounding steel posts, and building fence, were everyday activities on the farm. At an early age Bruce developed a knack and skill for operating farm equipment and mechanic work on almost any type of equipment. Bruce spent a life-time employed in the agricultural industry. Employed for the last 13 years at Valley Beef. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Gene, Sister Carol, and brother Mike. Bruce is survived by Hal (Kathy) Gines, Barry (Nancy) Gines, Nancy (Dan) Paetzold, Brent (Caren) Gines, Laura Gines (Mike’s Spouse), Kurt (Joy) Gines, Bryce (Kristi) Gines, David (Cheryl) Gines. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 at Parke Funeral Home at 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, Idaho. Service will start at 1:00, visitors welcome at 11:00 am. Graveside services will be at the Jerome Cemetery at Cemetery Road in Jerome, Idaho at 3 PM
