Obituary:

In loving memory of Carolyn L. Dennis, a cherished wife, dedicated mother, and a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. She passed away on May 5, 2024, in Filer, Idaho, surrounded by her beloved family and faithful dogs after bravely facing a short battle with liver cancer.

Born on February 18, 1952, in her hometown of Twin Falls, Idaho, Carolyn was a true hometown girl. She was raised by her loving parents, Clifton and Laura Carney. Carolyn's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world around her with an independent nature that drew others to her.

Carolyn's passion for the great outdoors was evident in her love for camping and finding solace in the mountains. She was not just a casual camper but a professional one, always prepared with supplies to make every adventure memorable. Her vibrant personality shone through in everything she did - from geocaching to collecting rocks, reading books to exploring new horizons.

Carolyn embraced her role as a devoted wife to Gary Dennis and mother to her children Shawn Dennis (Josi Meek), Timothy Dennis (Leslie Losh), Tay Brackett(Jared), and Jennifer Quesnell (Chase). Her proudest accomplishment in life was undoubtedly her children whom she loved fiercely.  She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and many others.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Gary Dennis, grandchildren Tap and Jax, mother Laura Carney, father Clifton Carney, and brother Dean Carney.

As we say goodbye to Carolyn on this earthly plane, may we find solace in knowing that she now rests in eternal peace among the mountains she loved so dearly. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Rest in peace, dear Carolyn L. Dennis. Your spirit will forever be watching over us from Heaven.

We are thankful to those that cared for our Mom including Dr. Sandison, Stephanie Gorringe, Hospice Visions - Ginger and Alyssa, and family members ShaiLyn and Aliah.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 11:00 am at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home located at 2551 Kimberly Road Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family in the guestbook section below.
