On March 26, 2020, Carolyn Hessler passed away peacefully at age 74 after a brief illness. Carolyn was the biological mother of three children, David, JJ and Brandi, though she was known by "Mom" to so many others. She opened her doors and arms to all who entered her life, never thinking twice about helping another soul. She was known for her robust laugh and infectious smile that was impossible to ignore. She was an artist, prankster, caretaker and the strongest woman who smiled through all the tears and heartache life brought her way. She was also the loving grandmother, "Nonnie," to 8; Derrick, Kiyanna, Izack, Sage, Lindsay, Decker, Riley and Sabrina (deceased). Carolyn was born May 26th, 1945 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was adopted out of the Children's Home to her loving parents, Kales and Maria Lowe. Graduating in 1963 from Burley High School she attended the College of Idaho immediately after graduation. She held a number of careers over the years, most recently a Pit Boss for Cactus Pete's Casino in Jackpot, Nevada. Shortly before her 70th birthday she was able to connect with her birth family, and loved every moment of getting to know them. She is survived by her 3 siblings, Brent, Barbara and Richard. Carolyn never met a stranger, lighting up rooms as she entered and making friends wherever she went. She loved sewing and crafting, puzzles and spending time with grandkids. Carolyn will be missed every day and loved every moment. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Warm Springs Counseling Center.
