Catherine Lang

Catherine Lang, 99, of Twin Falls passed away peacefully on August 24, 2022. Catherine grew up on a farm and loved riding and spending time with the horses. She always loved horses and dogs. Catherine attended St. Edward’s Catholic School and graduated from Twin Falls High School. She married the love of her life, Virgil Lang during WWII. When he returned from serving overseas, they went on to raise 9 children. Catherine was a kind, loving and generous person. She loved to crochet and knit and share her creations. A highlight of her day was visiting with family or friends by phone or in person especially for afternoon tea and crocheting afterwards. She was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church. Catherine will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her 9 children: Margaret, Frank, Rita, Catherine, Patricia, David, Rick, Ed, and Marsha; her cousins Vivienne and Joan; 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren; 19 nieces and 13 nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, husband, brother, cousins, one grandson, two great-grandsons, two nieces, and eight nephews. A Rosary will be held on September 9, 2022 at 9:20 AM at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 161 6th Ave E in Twin Falls immediately following the Rosary is the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.
