Coy David “Dave” Walden (1942 – 2021) Coy David “Dave” Walden passed away peacefully at home on February 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and family. Dave was born on May 6, 1942 to Coy Arthur Walden and Lillie Marie Kissinger in Little Rock, Arkansas. The family migrated to the Magic Valley area where Dave grew up and graduated from Twin Falls Senior High School in 1960. After graduation, Dave enlisted the U.S. Army and honorable served for 3 ½ years. While in the service, he was stationed in Germany guarding the Brandenburg Gate during the Berlin Crisis. When Dave returned to the states, he met the love of his life, Connie Kay Caven at the Artic Circle on Main Street. Dave and Connie were married on October 28, 1963 in Elko, Nevada. Over the years, Dave worked for several local food and beverage companies. Dave retired in 2015 from Solo Cup Company where he worked as warehouse manager. After retirement Dave and Connie fulfilled a lifetime dream to travel. They traveled for 12 years often working as camp hosts at KOA campgrounds. Dave is survived by his wife, Connie; their four children, Linda (Brent) Culver, Kathy (Casey) Clements, Shawn (Kristy) Walden and Amy (Eric Reeves) Walden; and 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dave was processed in death by his parents. At Dave’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
