Cynthia Kathleen Joy age 60 from Filer passed away at St. Luke’s Magic Valley after suffering a stroke on 03/08/2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to Donald and Bobbie Joy on 03/06/1962 in Wichita, Kansas. She was a spit fire from birth and could be counted on to say the most inappropriate things at the most inappropriate times. She and her siblings Doug and Mindy were raised as military brats spending time in Canada, Germany and eventually Mountain Home, Idaho. Cindy attended Twin Falls High School where she met Troy Fletcher. They were later married and had her only daughter Tiffney Marie. Cindy’s travels took her to Washington where she later had her 1st son RJ Lee. For the next several years, Cindy lived a carefree life always loving her children, but didn’t make the best choices resulting in Tiffney and RJ going to live with family in Idaho. Cindy made her way to California, where she met her longtime partner, Troy Baynes. Together they had 3 more son’s Bryan, Troy Jr, and Kodey. Wanting to be closer to her whole family Troy and Cindy moved to Idaho in 2008 where she lived until her passing. Cindy loved animals and had many throughout her life, including ferrets, horses, birds, fish, turtles, a python, tarantula, cats and even a racoon! Her favorites though were her 2 Pomeranians Teddy and Gizzmo (Gizzy). Cindy loved to craft and was one of the few people we know who could easily spend over $100 at the dollar store in 10 min. She had a generous heart and her family will miss the quirky gifts that she would frequently give them. Though she didn’t have much, she would be the first to offer anyone anything she had. She had an obsession with all things Tinkerbell and her collection ranged from coffee mugs, to costumes, and even a tattoo. Cindy’s life wasn’t always easy, but she had a knack for getting up every time she got knocked down. Her fighting spirit will be sorely missed by all those that loved her. Cindy was preceded in death by her Dad Donald, her Mother Bobbie Sue, her son RJ and her significant other Troy Baynes. She is survived by her daughter Tiffney (Richie) Ramos, her sons Bryan (Hayley) Venegas, Troy (Tatteana) Baynes, and Kodey Baynes. Her 8 grandkids, her sibilings Doug (Karen) Joy and Mindy (Lyle) Harman, several nieces and nephews and many friends that she considered family. Our family would like to thank the first responders, nurses and physicians in the ED and ICU. A special thank you to Rick for all his help, love and support that he gave to our mom. If you don’t know nothing else, what do you know? Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls.
