Danielle Cheri Grant, age 47, of Kimberly, Idaho, passed away at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital, on August 25, 2021.
Danielle was born in Denver, Colorado on May 30, 1974, to Christine and Robert Cordova. She graduated from Natrona County High School, Casper, Wyoming, in 1992 and attended Helena College Nursing School in Helena, Montana.
Danielle was married to Jason Gilstrap and was blessed with 2 children, Bradley Issac and Meagan Alise.
Danielle married Rowdy Grant on August 9, 2007, in Emmett, Idaho. Cooper Owen blessed their lives in 2008.
Danielle started bowling at the age of twelve with many accomplishments to follow. She qualified to attend 2 Coca Cola National Tournaments representing the state of Wyoming. The tournaments were held in Tampa, Florida and then in Detroit, Michigan. Danielle was the 2nd woman in the state of Wyoming to bowl a perfect game (300) with two more to follow. She played volleyball and softball during high school.
Highlights of Danielle’s life were being a part of her 3 children’s activities from wrestling and football with Bradley, cheer and Lacrosse with Meagan and football, Tae Kwon-do and hockey with Cooper. She was instrumental in the organization of the South Hills Lacrosse team in Twin Falls, Idaho and served as the President until the time of her passing. Danielle was also very active in the Save the Brain Foundation in Helena, Montana.
The love of the outdoors, Green Mountain, Wyoming family camping, Grant family hunting and archery shoots and many anniversary rides with Rowdy on the 4-wheeler represented many hours of pleasure.
Photography was another of her loves, winning scholarships in high school and starting Funny Face Photography.
Danielle is survived by her husband, Rowdy Grant, children Bradley Gilstrap, Meagan Gilstrap and Cooper Grant, parents Christine and Maynard Stotts, siblings Shawn (Traca) Stotts, Tami Stotts, Matthew Stotts and Jacob Stotts, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on August 31, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Parke Funeral Home.
