David Guymon

David Michael Guymon (He prefered Dave) age 54, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, two of his children and some wonderful employees of Visions home health and hospice on June 3rd 2019, of complications following his almost four year battle with cancer.   Dave was born in Idaho Falls Idaho on August 30th 1964 to Don and Shirley Richie Guymon. He graduated from Bonneville High School where he excelled in the automotive painting program. Many years after high school Dave was blessed with four children: Ashley Renea ( Feb. 22, 1988), Nathan Michael (Feb. 11, 1990), Skyler Shane (Jan. 15, 1994) and Austin Chesak (June 9, 1998).   Dave met his future wife Karen Decker on singlesnet.com in May 2007 and they emailed for two to three days then Dave asked Karen if he could call and she said yes and they have been talking ever since. Then on the day after Thanksgiving 2007 Dave called Karen and asked what she was doing, she said that she was on her way to Snowville Utah to meet Dave face to face. Dave drove down from Wendell Idaho and met Karen at the Pilot in Snowville Utah. That is why Karen and Dave always tell people that their first date was that the pilot in Snowville Utah. They were married on March 8th 2008 in Ogden Utah and they were later sealed in the Twin Falls Idaho Temple on April 14th 2008.   Dave loved to ride four-wheelers in Devil's Corral and see Shoshone Falls from behind, he had a lifelong interest in painting automobiles, planes, helicopter, boats, RV's and driving a tow truck. He worked at Sunkist in Idaho Falls, Wrecker Boyz with Tyler Hammond in Driggs Idaho, Miller Brothers in Wendell Idaho, Jerome Auto Body and Canyon Side Towing in Jerome Idaho, Southern Idaho RV in Jerome, Snake River Auto Body and Paint in Twin Falls Idaho. At his time of passing Dave was currently you working at Marky's Auto Body and Marky's Super Tow.   Dave was predeceased by his Father Don Guymon, many Aunts and Uncles including his favorite Aunt Jimmer aka Donna Peterson, his Mother in Law Laraine Greenwell Decker. Dave his survived by his precious wife Karen Decker Guymon, Twin Falls ID, daughter Ashley (Randy) Kimberly ID, son Nate (Rachel)Twin Falls ID, son Skyler, Kuna ID, and son Austin Chesak ID Falls ID, Mom Shirley, ID Falls ID, sister Sandy (Arlen) Glendale, AZ, sister Vickie (Neil) ID Falls ID, brother Lynn (Renae) ID Falls ID, brother Donnie (Helen)ID Falls ID, Father in Law Reed N Decker Ogden UT, Sister in Law Laree Decker Ogden UT, Brother in Law Lewis R Decker(Hillary), Lots of Nieces and Nephews and four beautiful grandchildren.   A viewing will be held on Wed June 12th from 5 to 7 PM and his funeral will be on Thursday, June 13th at 2:00 PM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd.
