David Franklin Pedersen, age 74, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 10, 2021. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho on December 16, 1946 to Edward and Louise Pedersen. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1965. Dave married his high school sweetheart, Carlene Miller, February 17, 1967. Dave spent his life growing and maintaining his family businesses, Pedersen’s Sporting Goods and Precision Mountainwear. Throughout his life, Dave filled his time with many activities including camping, racing motorcycles, hang gliding, restoring antique cars, golfing, and traveling. He also enjoyed music and played several instruments. Dave is survived by his wife Carlene, his daughters Lindsey (Matt Thomas) Pedersen, Nancy (John) Murphy, and Kelsey (Ron) Valenzuela, and grandchildren, Sophie Thomas, Alex Thomas, Lucy Murphy, Claire Murphy, and Quinn Valenzuela. He is also survived by siblings Susan (Lennart) Karlson, Ken (Trudy) Pedersen, Kerry Pedersen, and Sherrie (Mark) Slusser. The family will be hosting an open house for family and friends to share memories of Dave’s life on Saturday, May 15, from 2-4pm at the Pedersen home at 2830 Sunray Loop in Twin Falls. Cremation is under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, ID.
