David Rodriguez

David Rodriguez was born in Burley, Idaho on October 11, 1958, to parents Fidel and Mary Rodriguez. David, being the oldest of three children, was a loving older brother to sisters Lisa and Joann. After many years of dedicated studying, he graduated from Burley High School in 1977.

David soon after met the love of his life, Flor. The couple married on August 21, 1983. They shared 41 happy years of adventure, love, and laughter prior to his passing.

In his free time, David was a man of many hobbies. He loved to barbeque, work in his beautifully maintained yard, and was an accomplished fisherman. He could often be found enjoying mechanical work and football and cartoons. David also had a special interest in holistic health.

David Rodriguez will be remembered as a very loving and sensitive man, who deeply loved God and his family. David passed away peacefully at his home on July 26, 2024, surrounded by his adoring family until the very end. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

David is preceded in death by his father, Fidel Rodriguez.

David is survived by his wife, Flor Rodriguez of Twin Falls, Idaho; mother Mary Rodriguez; daughters Courtney Rodriquez of Twin Falls, Idaho, Tawni (Sean) Brown of Boise, Idaho, and Kristie (Otoniel) Garza Vega of Twin Falls, Idaho; sisters Lisa (Yato) Flores and Joann Rodriguez; granddaughters Bryanna Naranjo of Twin Falls, Idaho, Amanee Naranjo of Twin Falls, Idaho, Britnee Vega of Twin Falls, Idaho, Jaida Brown of Boise, Idaho, Taiya Brown of Boise, Idaho, Maiya Brown of Boise, Idaho, and Ciara Brown of Boise, Idaho; nephew Adrian Flores; and great-grandson Esai Reyes of Twin Falls, Idaho.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. Interment will follow at 12:30 PM at Riverside Cemetery, Heyburn, Idaho 83336.

The Rodriguez family extends their sincerest gratitude to their friends and family for the support, acts of kindness, visits, kind words, and prayers they have offered during this trying time.
