Debra Kay Coggins, 52, of Twin Falls, ID passed away peacefully at her home on February 2nd, 2023. Debra was born in Twin Falls, ID September 23rd, 1970 to Charles William Coggins and Sandra Kay Coggins of Twin Falls, ID. Debra was a Class of 1988 Twin Falls High School graduate and followed on with her LPN credentialing at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls. Growing up, Debra was blessed with three older brothers and one younger brother which resulted in her becoming as battle hardened as her siblings were. She was kind, caring, and nurturing, but also well capable of holding her own when in came to daily life - she was an extremely strong independent woman. Debra enjoyed spending time with family and friends, special occasions, camping, traveling, bowling, and recently playing pool at The Pocket in Twin Falls where she introduced her mother to the game. Debra worked in several retail and food service jobs before finding her true passion in the healthcare industry. Debra also served the Idaho Army National Guard for six years as a Medic. Debra lead a life of service from serving her country to assisting those in need of care including her parents. Debra spent an overwhelming majority of her nursing career working at Bridgeview Estates and the Twin Falls Care Center tending to the elderly. Debra was never married, however spent the last 12 years with her significant other Ron Dalton of Twin Falls. Although she never had any children of her own, she absolutely adored their three Dachshund puppies, Copper, Mia and Einstein and Dad’s new Golden Retriever Sam. Debra was also very fond of her parents, brothers and their spouses as well as the many nieces and nephews the family has been blessed with. Debra is survived by her Father Charles of Twin Falls, her brothers William (Pamela) Coggins of Nampa, James (Christi) Coggins of Twin Falls, Kevin (Leslie) Coggins of Twin Falls, and Charles C. (Roxanne) of Kuna, nieces Dena Haswell, Natasha Meatte (Jason), Kyndal Stringer (Brandon), Amanda Wherry (Jay), Shannon McHan (Ryan), Madelyn Coggins, and nephews Matt Coggins (Maggie Copeland), Kaleb Coggins, Kevin B. Coggins (Alison). She was also blessed with eleven great nephews and nieces; Charlotte, Kaisen, Kynlee, Taytum, Bo, Jayden, Rebeka, Naomi, John, Lucy and Lyla. Debra is preceded in death by her Mother Sandra Coggins and two great nephews; Lucas and Levi. Debra is also survived by her Grandmother Esther Kirby of Ephrata, WA, and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will be scheduling a Celebration of Life for Debra at a future date and will provide a notification once determined.
