Delores (Dee) Ann Eiselein passed away June 20, 2023, after fiercely battling a short illness. She was born February 14, 1949, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Melvin and Joyce Jennings. Dee attended Twin Falls High School and married Leon Ellis on March 30, 1968. They had two children, Christy Marie and Tracy Lynn, before they divorced. In 1977, she met the love of her life, Jim Eiselein. They married on June 26, 1985, in Elko, Nevada. Dee and Jim were inseparable and enjoyed trips to Jackpot and spending time with family and friends. They were together for 45 years until Jim’s passing in October 2022. Dee worked at Herrett’s Stocks for 43 years, where she made custom gun stocks for gun companies, such as Smith and Wesson, Ruger, Hi Standard and Colt, as well as celebrities including Hank Williams, Jr., Tom Selleck, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Dee was a hard worker who didn’t like to sit still and could often be found working in her yard, cleaning and organizing, or anything else that would keep her busy. In addition, she was a caregiver with a heart of gold. She was always willing to help her family and friends whenever they needed a hand, whether it be with giving her time, money and even possessions, if necessary. In May 2023, Dee took the trip of a lifetime, visiting New York, Florida, Belgium, Paris, and the Netherlands. She especially loved Florida and the beach. She is survived by her children: Greg (Tanya) Eiselein of Manhattan, Kansas; Lyssa (Scott) Thomas of Twin Falls; Christy (Dee) Walters of Blackfoot; and Tracy (Jason) Miller of Twin Falls. She had 9 grandchildren: Misty (Brandon) Berheim of Kimberly, Ryan Tucker of Twin Falls, Kacie Tucker of Twin Falls, Bradley (Georgia) Miller of Hansen, Nicholas Miller of Twin Falls, Rachel Stewart of Twin Falls, Allison (Keith) Ketchum of Twin Falls, and Eliot and Emerson Eiselein of Manhattan, Kansas. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyne Jennings of Twin Falls; brother Larry Jennings of Twin Falls; and sister Brenda (Chris) Cothary of Bonney Lake, Washington. There will be a memorial celebration for Dee and Jim on July 15, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Rolling Hills Park on North Main Street in Hansen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dee’s name to the American Cancer Society.
