Donald DeWayne (Buck) Bowman departed our human world to join his wife, many family members and friends in Heaven on Don was born on 08-11-1934 to Walter and Goldrica (Steelsmith) Bowman. Throughout his childhood he lived in Kimberly, Idaho. He had five siblings. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1952 and attended school to be a telegrapher for the Railroad. He was married to the love of his life, Janet Arlene Huffman on April 25, 1954, in Kimberly, Idaho. They lived in Twin Falls, Idaho and had two children Laura Christine born 04-13-1957 and Darrell Lee born 0117-1960. Don was a very proud, hardworking man. He worked for Kimberly Nurseries for the better part of his life, trucking plants from southern California to Canada and landscaping all over the Magic Valley, including many celebrity homes in Sun Valley. He talked often of his many travels and about all the businesses and community areas he helped to maintain. After he retired, he continued landscaping for many clients and helping all his neighbors to keep their homes immaculate. Gardening and landscape work was his greatest accomplishment and his ultimate joy. Don was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and four of his siblings. He is survived by his son Darrell (Sherri) Bowman; his daughter Laura (Roger) Perkins; his granddaughter Anna (Donn) Fraser and his sister Irene Easton. Don's wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes placed at Sunset Memorial Park next to his wife and near other family members. At his request, there will be no formal service.
