Donna Lorraine Beadle, age 72, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at her home with her daughter and best friend by her side on June 17, 2021, after a long-fought battle with cancer. Donna was born in Compton, California on April 26, 1949 to Lloyd and Wilma Beadle. At a young age, Donna, her older brother Lloyd Jr. and her parents moved to Henderson Nevada, where she graduated from Basic High School in 1967. Donna married Carl Johnston in December of 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had two children, Lorraine and Carl. They resided in Las Vegas, Nevada until 1976 when the family moved to Idaho. As a child, Donna’s family loved water skiing as often as they could get their boat into the water. After moving to Idaho, she was devoted to her children and did everything possible to make sure they had what they needed. She was the best mom ever. While living in Bellevue, Idaho, she worked at the Blaine County Sheriff’s office and the Blaine County Prosecutor’s Office for many years. She and Carl later divorced, and Donna moved to Twin Falls where she worked for the Twin Falls City Police Department as a secretary in the Detective Division. From there she decided she wanted more and became a Probation and Parole Agent with the Idaho Department of Corrections. She then became a supervisor with the IDOC and managed the work center in Twin Falls. After she retired from the State, she enjoyed traveling the world with her friends and family. She also enjoyed spending any spare time with her chihuahua’s. They were everything to her. She was an amazing scrap booker and created beautiful scrapbooks for all her family. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Wilma Beadle. She is survived by her children, Lorraine (Stuart) Robinson and Carl (Heather) Johnston, and two beautiful grandchildren, Merridith and Bowen Johnston. A Celebration of Life will be held for Donna and her dad, Lloyd William Beadle Sr. on July 9, 2021 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home in Twin Falls Idaho beginning at 2:00 pm. All family, friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend. Donna requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to your local animal shelter, or to the Twin Falls Animal Shelter.
