Donna Hoffman was born July 17, 1951, in Morganfield, Kentucky to Mary Ethol Winder and Donald Phillips. She spent her younger years in Kansas and San Jose, California. Eventually her and her family made it to John Day, Oregon. She was married to Raymond Phillip Hoffman for 23 years before his death due to pancreatic cancer. Donna was part of AKC dog shows in San Jose, California where her and her Shetland sheepdog placed 3rd out of 100 dogs. She loved art, had 3 German Shepard's, music, gardening, her family, going for rides around town and the ocean. My favorite memory is she lived with her grandparents when she was 3 years old. She saw a German Shepard, called the dog over and put her arm around his neck and hid him in the basement. Donna is survived by her daughters Staci Hoffman (John Day, Oregon) and Leslie Hughes (Chicago, Illinois); son Joshua Hoffman (Kuna, Idaho); numerous cousins in Kansas, Florida and Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Donald Phillips and her husband Raymond Phillip Hoffman No formal services are planned at this time. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family under the guestbook section above.
