Dorothy Morgensen

Dorothy Marie Morgensen, our beloved mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed on February 28,2022 from this earthly world into the arms of her lord and savior. Dorothy was born in Kimberly, Idaho on April 13,1939 to Edmond and Florence Kimball. She graduated Kimberly High School and later attended college at Christian Bible College. Dorothy met her future husband Walter Morgensen at church. They were married on September 19,1964 in Twin Falls, Idaho the Methodist Church by Twin Falls City Park. Dorothy loved camping, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family. Her kids and grandkids were her joy in life. She worked at Haney’s Seed and Musser Seed so she would have time with her boys in the summertime. Dorothy was predeceased by the love of her life husband Walt in 2010, sisters Elaine Eller, Ruth Nutting, and brother William Kimball. She is survived by her two sons Stacey Morgensen of Boise, Andy Morgensen of Kimberly and her favorite daughter Brandi Morgensen, three grandchildren, Melissa Morgensen of Kimberly, Charlie Morgensen of Montpelier, Maddie Morgensen of Kimberly, one great grandson Konnor Morgensen of Kimberly two sisters Shirley Mae Vandervoot of Arizona and Patricia Silver of Kimberly and one brother Eddie Kimball of Nampa. Friends may view from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls, Idaho on Friday, March 4, 2022, with funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Parke's Funeral Home.
