Dustin Ransom

July 20, 1989 — June 26, 2020

Dustin aka Dirty D, JR., Slick, was born July 20, 1989 to Floyd and Claudia Ransom. He went straight into the loving arms of his great grandmother Ella Bryant and his big brother Zane. His parents later divorced and in 1992 his mom married his pops (Fred Miller) Pops and the boys were a threesome for years. Jr. and Zane could get themselves into so serious pickles but together they always found their way out! He and his brother started working in the electrical trade at a very young age. He started running rope through the rafters at 6 years old and never stopped. He loved it as did his brother Zane. At 7 he met his best friend Jaime Coltrin and they were adventurers, inventors and sometimes troublemakers!! At 14 he found the love of his life, Heather Ewalt, they were married May 10, 2008 They have three children Brad, Zyn and Zax.. Dustin was an old spirit, loved old music, jazz, blues and any kind of rowdy music he could find!! He taught himself to play drums, guitar, banjo and lately the violin. He loved music and he loved it loud! He also enjoyed fishing with his children and his grandpa He taught his children how to pan for gold, treasure hunt and fish, including ice fishing. He loved to camp and taught his children to chop wood the way his Pa taught him. He taught them to shoot as well, but most of all he loved to debate!! Even if he agreed with you, he would take the other side just for fun. Dustin is survived by his wife Heather his children Brad, Zyn, and Zax. He was preceded in death by His Pa Claude Bryant, Aunt and Uncle Rosie and Elgin Abner, Grandma and Grandpa Robert and Marva Jean Ransom and his special Aunt Joey Bryant. Believe it or not Dustin had his final wishes at the age of 9, so his wife and I have tried our best to follow through as he has never changed his mind! He will be spread on our mountain at a later date with his Pa and his grandma Ella. However, he wanted a big party to celebrate his life and that is what it will be.
