Dylan Paul Goertzen

Dylan Paul Goertzen, 33, passed away on October 28, 2023, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Dylan was born on March 21, 1990, weighing in at 6 Lbs. 7 Oz. He was born at the Mountain Home Air Force Base. He grew up in Filer and Twin Falls most of his life. He graduated high school in 2008 from Twin Falls High School. Dylan was a volunteer fire fighter for Jackpot from 2013-2017. He graduated from The College of Southern Idaho’s Post Academy on July 27, 2011. In 2015 he began his own security business. Dylan married Kristen Lang on November 22, 2008, at Assembly of God Church in Twin Falls. He was part of the Explorer program in Twin Falls High School for future law enforcement. Dylan loved the outdoors, camping and hunting. He is survived by his wife Kristen Goertzen of Twin Falls; Sons Kamron and Daniel Goertzen both of Twin Falls; Daughter Madison Goertzen of Twin Falls; Mother Michelle (Kevin) Miller of Douglas, Wyoming; Dad Kurt Henderson of Twin Falls; Grandparents, Bill and Becky Goertzen and Lynnette Goertzen all of Twin Falls; Sisters Lindsey (Derek) Stewert of Casper, Wyoming, Logan Henderson of Casper, Wyoming, and Kourtney Henderson of Jacksonville, North Carolina; and In-laws Rondal and Rita Lang of Filer, Idaho. Dylan is preceded in death by his aunt Melissa Goertzen and grandmothers Mary Mort and Beulah Lang. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday November 2, 2023 at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho, 83301. Interment will be at the Filer Cemetery.
