Eddie Howard

Eddie Watson Howard, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on October 5, 2021. Eddie was born August 2, 1937 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Dorothy and Darrell Howard. Eddie was raised in Hazleton, Idaho. Later on in life, Eddie met Patricia Jean Gable. They married August 3, 1956. On June 14, 1969, Eddie and Patricia were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Born to them were 6 children. Selena Stahlecker, Buhl, Idaho. Dan Howard, Castleford, Idaho. Doug (Laurie) Howard, Castleford, Idaho. Julie Narramore, Kanab, Utah. Dave (Julie) Howard, Twin Falls, Idaho. Darren Howard, Twin Falls, Idaho. Adding to the family are 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife (Patty); granddaughter, Stephanie; sisters, Shirlene and Greta; and brother, Kent. Eddie is survived by his sister, Deanna; his children and grandchildren. Eddie worked hard his whole life. Eddie started his career in the Gerber baby food company. Later, Eddie resigned and started his farming career. He loved working with the animals, especially horses and dogs. Working in the fields was hard work, he never complained. He would come in from working the fields and join his kids in whatever sport they were playing. After retiring from farming, he went to work for the Twin Falls canal company until he finally retired for good. Eddie was always there for his kids. He taught them how to work. It was an guarantee to see him and mom in the stands at any of their kids activities. Services will be October 13". Viewing will be at Parke's funeral Home from 9 am to 10:45 am.
