Elaine Anne Borah, a lifelong resident of Hansen, Idaho, departed this world on December 5, 2024, leaving behind a rich tapestry woven with the love of her family and the simple joys of life. Born on August 23, 1934, she blossomed in the very town that was her home, where her heart remained throughout her years.
Elaine was a proud graduate of the Hansen High School Class of 1952 and a remarkable woman whose talents and interests resonated deeply within her community. She found profound joy in music, often gracing friends and family with her melodies played on the piano and organ. Her love for gardening was unmatched, as she tended to her beloved iris flowers, creating vibrant beauty that mirrored her personality.
Crafting and sewing were not just hobbies for Elaine; they were expressions of her creativity and love, gifts she shared generously with those around her. Whether conjuring up delicious meals in the kitchen or engaging in joyful moments at her children’s school functions, Elaine filled her days with warmth and laughter. Camping with family brought her closer to nature and nurtured cherished memories that will linger in the hearts of her loved ones.
Elaine was a Member of the LDS Hansen Ward. She leaves behind six children, three granddaughters, and four great-grandchildren.
While Elaine now joins her parents Ambrose and Annie McFarland, husband Carlos Borah, brother and sisters, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in eternal rest, her memory will forever thrive in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. Her nurturing spirit, creativity, and kindness have left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. In the gentle rustle of the iris flowers she adored, in the notes of the melodies she played, and in the warmth of the family she cherished, Elaine Anne Borah will continue to be a source of inspiration and love.
Services for Elaine will be held at a later date.
