“Libby” Elizabeth Ann Miller Sheridan October 9, 1956 – March 8, 2021 Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Miller Sheridan, age 64, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 from a heart attack. Libby was born on October 9, 1956, in Twin Falls, Idaho the oldest of two children born to Lyle and Donna Miller. She grew up in Filer, Idaho and attended Filer Elementary thru High School, where she graduated in 1974. Libby attended Link’s School of Business in Boise, Idaho, where she obtained her degree in business and finance. After obtaining her degree, Libby went directly to work for Amalgamated Sugar Company, in 1975. She cultivated many life-long friendships and met her future husband and love of her life, Russell “Bud” Sheridan. Libby was currently planning her retirement, after 46 dedicated years of service. Libby and Bud were married on October 23, 1976. They never had children of their own, but she became stepmother to Bud’s children, David Sheridan and Valeri Sheridan Main. She was a loving caregiver to her husband, Bud, for many years, up until his passing in 2019. Libby was a member of the Filer Nazarene Church, serving on the Board of Stewards and was the Women’s Ministry Leader. She was very involved in her community, thru her church, Kiwanis and the Senior Center. She volunteered to help where ever there was a need. Libby is survived by her sister, Laura “Lori” Gines; two nieces; Brandy and Megan Gines and nephew Justin Gines; three great nieces; Hayli Wooten, Kaelie and Kierra Ulibarri; one great nephew; Brayden Wooten. Stepdaugher; Valeri Main (Shane Main) and two grandsons; Drake Main and Shane Main, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Donna Miller; husband Russell “Bud” Sheridan; stepson David Sheridan and granddaughter, Amanda Sheridan. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021at 11 AM at Filer Nazarene Church. Inurnment will follow at Filer Cemetery.
