Esther Moltumyr

Esther Jeanette Moltumyr, 97 years young, went Home to be with her Lord on February 8, 2020.    Esther was born in Wolverton, Minnesota on December 29, 1922 to Alfred and Amanda Moltumyr. She took care of her parents for many years before moving to St. Paul. While there, she was employed by St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company. In 1971, Esther moved with family to Twin Falls, Idaho. She worked for Sierra Life Insurance and later, Cains Furniture, until her retirement.    In August of 2018, her great niece and nephew-in-law (Chantal and David Steen), were honored to have her move in with them. She filled their country home with love and joy. She died peacefully at home with her family surrounding her.   Esther will be fondly remembered for her Christ-like willingness to help wherever she could, her amazingly sharp mind and memory, and her delicious homemade breads and cookies.    Esther was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one sister, Betty Vorwerk of Fargo, North Dakota, and many nieces and nephews, including her great, great, great nieces and nephews.   Auntie Esther will be greatly missed and remain forever in our hearts.
