Garald Nielsen

Garald Dale Nielsen, 82, of Twin Falls, Idaho went to be with Jesus at his home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Garald was born in Pomona, California on May 26, 1942 to John and Vera Nielsen. Garald served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1962. Garald married Carol Zuck in 1968 in California.

He worked at various jobs over the years but was best known for working in food service and being an excellent cook. He had an amazing sense of humor and loved to make his children and grandchildren laugh. One of his passions was gardening. After retirement God called him to serve as an ordained minister in the Foursquare Church.

His wife Carol went to be with the Lord in 2023. Garald is survived by his 4 children Christa Hannold of Twin Falls, Rebecca Bell of Louisiana, John Nielsen of California, Sarah Allen of Washington, and 12 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls ID 83301.

Interment will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 2296 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID 83301. A viewing will take place one hour prior at 10:00 AM at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID 83301.

Following interment, a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls ID 83301. A reception will follow.
