George Richard "Dick" Stocker

GEORGE RICHARD "DICK" STOCKER Dick passed away November 20, 2021, per his wishes at his home with family. Born November 12, 1936, in Carson, Iowa to Alvin Clifford and Beulah Fern Stocker. The family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho in 1947. He attended Twin Falls schools and graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1954. Right out of high school Dick went to work learning the carpenter trade. He joined the Army Reserves 1958 and honorably discharged December 1967. He loved building and continued working in the building trades. Dick and Janean were married on September 1, 1963, at the First United Methodist Church, Twin Falls. They have two children, Ralph Christopher and Janelle Kay. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church. Dick enjoyed golfing, going fishing, fly fishing and camping with family and friends. Surviving is his wife Janean of Twin Falls, son Ralph C. Stocker of Twin Falls, daughter Janelle K. Larsen(Larry), grandsons Jake G. Larsen and Wyatt D. Larsen of Pocatello, Idaho. His sister Beth Marie (Rich) Heitz of Lacey, Washington. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gloria A. and Richard S. Jones of Twin Falls and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother Gary Ward Stocker and parents. The family extends special thanks to Hospice Visions in the final days of care for Dick. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls.
