Gregory Allen Marks, age 59, of Nampa, Idaho passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident Saturday night November 13th, 2021. Greg was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 18th, 1961, to Robert William Marks of Lynden, Washington and Alice Marks (Schahwerek) of St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from Henry Sibley High School in 1980. He joined the United States Army out of high school and served for three years. He left the Army in 1983 and worked various jobs until 1986 when he joined United States Air Force. Greg exited the Air Force in 1991 and moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. Greg started working at the United States Post Office in 1993 until his passing. Greg also retired from the Idaho National Guard in 2001 with 21 years of military service. Greg’s first marriage was to Judith Ann Neumann of West St. Paul, Minnesota in September 1985 in West St. Paul, Minnesota. In 2010, Greg and Judi decided to go their separate ways. Greg’s love of motorcycles led him to meet the love of his life online through a biker website, Peggy Ann Lintner. In a private ceremony at High Desert Harley on November 12th, 2013, at 14:15 Greg and Peggy were married. Greg loved to hunt, fish, ride ATVs, and play guitar. On quite days Greg would watch NASCAR and spend time reading and watching shows about cast iron cooking. His favorite actor was John Wayne and his favorite singer was Elvis Presley. Another hobby of Greg’s was riding his Harley Davidson. Greg was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and playing the guitar. Greg was preceded in death by his father Robert, his brother Robert Jr, and his mother Alice. He is survived by his wife Peggy Marks of Nampa, sons James Robert Zinck of Buchanan, Michigan, Jeffery Allen Neumann (Lori) of Kuna, Idaho; daughters Kathryn Lynn Marks of Albert Lea, Minnesota; Barbara Marie Elliott (James) of Boise, Idaho; Victoria Louise Marks of Boise, Idaho; sister Pam Marks of Albert Lea; his mother-in-law America Elizabeth Schmaltz of Buchanan, Michigan and seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be held November 23rd, 2021, at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home in Twin Falls, Idaho at 2:00 PM.
