Gregory Nick Jannetta

March 25, 1936 — February 20, 2023

Gregory Nicholas Jannetta (Mar 25, 1936 - Feb 20, 2023) Greg was a proud father, grandfather, and Marine veteran who served his country for nearly a decade including a tour in Vietnam. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Greg worked as an educator for the Anaheim School District long enough to be tenured following his military career. Greg also was a wiseass beyond his years. He was a huge fan of Elvis, crude humor, diner shop coffee, Chile Colorado, sunbathing in jeans and a sweatshirt, and NOT watching professional sports because the athletes "made too much money." If you wanted to get on his bad side, all you needed to do was touch his hair. Without question, he was put on this planet to be a grandfather. He loved his granddaughter London and grandson Jasper with all his heart. He was a very supportive, generous, and loving father to Richard and Greg Jr as well. He would have made an excellent husband if it weren't for his selective hearing, habit of bending the truth, and inviting his best friend Larry to attend events such as honeymoons. You will be missed for eternity by those who loved you, and it's quite a long list of souls. Rest in peace pap. Friends may call from 5 – 7 P.M. on February 23, 2023 at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls. Greg will be laid to rest at the Snake River Canyon National Cemetery in Buhl, Idaho in a Private Service. Arrangements are under the caring direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
