Henry Talbot Sr.

June 3, 1982 — January 10, 2025

Hazelton

Henry Leon Talbot Sr., or as some called "Hank", of Hazelton, Idaho, began his journey on June 3, 1982, in Blackfoot, Idaho. His indomitable spirit and eagerness for life came to a close on January 10, 2025, as he succumbed to natural causes, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and laughter that will forever echo in the hearts of his loved ones.

Hank was no ordinary man; he was a beacon of passion and kindness, with a remarkable ability to make others feel at ease. His adventures were legendary, often leading him into the wild, where he found peace in the comforting embrace of nature. Whether it was fishing in the most breathtaking locations or hiking for miles to pursue an elusive buck with his bow, he embraced each moment with an adventurous heart. These experiences shared with family have woven lasting memories, each tale a thread in the fabric of a life well-lived.

In addition to his natural enticement to the great outdoors, Hank dedicated over 15 years to the milk processing industry, spending most of his career at Glanbia and concluding his journey at Idaho Milk Products. You can almost say he was fluent in the language of the machines running in the facilities that he worked in, taking anyone and everyone under his wing to teach them everything he knew. His steadfastness and great problem-solving abilities made him an invaluable asset to his colleagues and friends alike.

One of Hank's proudest accomplishments was running a 110K marathon, a testament to both his physical prowess and determination. He achieved his goal of crossing the finish line before dusk, exemplifying his adventurous spirit. Running was his way to clear his mind when it's running as fast as he was, allowing him to be the best version he can to the people he loved most. He also loved the thrill and challenge in the hunts he went on with his family.  Yet, his ultimate pride lay in raising four beautiful and hardworking children—Kayleigh, Henry Jr., Cathrine, and Sarah—whose lives will carry forth his legacy.

In his personal life, Hank was graced with the love of his parents, Marshall and Cynthia Talbot, who watched as their son became a man of great character and honor. In addition to his loving parents, he had 7 other loving and caring siblings ---Tina Ilene, Mary Elizabeth, Jennifer Leigh, Joseph Edward, Benjamin Edward, Matthew Nimrod, and Beverly Dawn--- Each one having a very special and unique story with Hank, showing how his life was full of love and fun times. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his Uncle Gary Talbot, who surely welcomed him with open arms.

As we gather to celebrate Hank's life, let us remember the man whose laughter brightened the darkest of days, whose adventures inspired courage, and whose love will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
